Whether by sail or by power, our whale watching vessels are fully equipped, designed and built with your comfort and safety in mind. So throughout your whale watching adventure, you'll have the unique opportunity to be "part of the pod" as we respectfully observe the feeding, socializing, traveling and playful behaviors of the wild dolphins and whales that inhabit the clear waters of the Bay of Banderas.
APEX INFLATABLES
 These incredibly versatile and extremely fast inflatable speed boats are used on Vallarta Adventures' Whale Photo Safari tour and The Outdoor Adventure. Each is powered by two 200 horse power Mercury Engines and have a sophisticated “planing” system which drops the nose of the boat at speeds over 20 mph to ensure a safe and comfortable ride. With a top speed of 50 mph, these boats are the fastest way to get around the Bay. The inflatable skirt acts as a shock absorber across the water which, along with cushioned seats, ensure that you enjoy a smooth ride. Each Apex Inflatable can hold up to 32 people and has a covered roof to shelter you from the sun. The unique design means that these are the only speedboats around that can land at beaches without having to use tenders.
PANGAS
 Vallarta Adventure has a fleet of 14 pangas that are used for diving, whale watching, and snorkeling tours. Our pangas are fast, maneuverable fiberglass boats with powerful outboard motors that provide us with a water-level view for whale watching, allow us to easily access hard-to-reach dive sites, and navigate the shallow waters of secluded coves on snorkeling trips.
Each panga can comfortably carry up to 10 passengers, all safety equipment, and snorkel or dive gear. Tarpaulin covers will protect you from the sun and onboard coolers keep drinks cold and picnic lunches fresh.
CATAMARANS
Our fleet of U.S.C.G. approved catamarans offer the highest level of performance, safety, and comfort to Puerto Vallarta's adventure travelers. Designed to provide a smooth, fast and quiet ride, these spacious boats feature comfortable seating, full restrooms, convenient swim platforms, freshwater rinse areas, secure equipment storage, and all required safety gear. The shallow draft of their design enables us to cruise to secluded beaches and coves where you can enjoy kayaking, snorkeling, or scuba diving.
While aboard, you will appreciate the great visibility these boats offer - whether you are working on your tan on the open decks or taking it easy in the shade while sipping a refreshing beverage from our full-service bar. Our energetic crew will keep you entertained with music and dancing, and are always ready to answer any questions you may have while enjoying your Vallarta Adventure!
